Abstract
This study focuses on the background of "information cocoon" effect, explores the challenges it brings to the construction of self-identity of high school students, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures. Through the analysis of the concept of "information cocoon" and the elaboration of self-identity theory, the paper reveals how information cocoon affects high school students' self-cognition, exploration and determination in the dimensions of information acquisition, value shaping and social interaction. It is found that the information cocoon leads to narrow information vision, deviation of value judgment and homogenization of social circle, which hinders the healthy construction of self-identity of high school students. Based on this, a series of countermeasures, including media literacy education, multi-information guidance, social expansion and psychological counseling, are proposed to help high school students break through the bondage of information cocoon, promote the positive construction of their self-identity, and provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for the mental health and personality development of high school students.
