Managerial Gender and the Firm Strategic Decision Making-Mediating Effects Based on Personality Traits

Abstract
Executives are crucial to corporate development. This paper empirically examines the relationship between executives' gender traits on the basis of theoretically analyzing their influence on corporate strategic decisions. The results show that the higher the proportion of female executives, the more aggressive the strategic decisions. Through further research, it can be found that openness does not have a mediating effect in the relationship between the two, and dutifulness has a partial mediating effect in the relationship between the two. The findings of this paper make a potentially useful contribution to the theoretical study of executives and high-quality corporate development.
