Abstract
To build a modern economic system, establishing a financial center in Zhejiang Province is both an intrinsic requirement and an inevitable choice for promoting the province's economic development. Establishing a financial center in Zhejiang facilitates the vigorous development of emerging financial sectors, promotes the digital transformation of traditional financial services, and constructs a modern financial system. This paper outlines the foundational conditions for establishing a financial center in Zhejiang, analyzes the constraints on this process, and compares it with Shanghai's regional financial center. Based on these findings, specific recommendations are proposed for Zhejiang to establish a regional financial center in the context of the digital economy.
