Abstract
Based on the concept of engineering certification and the connotation of "new engineering" construction, in response to the problems existing in traditional Foundation Engineering courses, taking professional training objectives and graduation requirements as the criteria, implementing the Outcome Based Education (OBE) concept, a curriculum reform centered on "learning" has been deepened. (1) Based on focusing on the forefront of disciplines, the teaching content has been optimized, highlighting the innovation of the curriculum; (2) A "curriculum-based ideological and political education" resource library was established, organically integrating ideological and political education with professional education; (3) It has innovated the practical teaching mode and bridged the gap in the application and transfer of knowledge; (4) It has innovated the blended teaching model, highlighting "learning" as the main body.. Through reform, students' comprehensive ability and advanced thinking in solving complex geotechnical engineering problems have been enhanced, which has promotion and application value for promoting engineering education certification and the reform practice of "new engineering" majors.
