Investigation and Innovative Research on the Continuing Education of Music Teachers in Rural Primary and Secondary Schools: A Case Study of Western Guangdong

Abstract
Rural education is an important part of China's education system, playing a crucial role in promoting educational equity and improving national quality. This paper focuses on the continuing education of music teachers in rural primary and secondary schools in Western Guangdong. Through a systematic investigation of the current situation, it deeply analyzes the existing problems in the continuing education of music teachers in this region and proposes targeted innovative strategies. The research adopts methods such as questionnaires and interviews to conduct a comprehensive survey of the basic situation of music teachers in rural primary and secondary schools in Western Guangdong and their participation in continuing education. In response to the problems, innovative strategies are proposed, including optimizing the content and form of continuing education, strengthening the construction of teaching staff and resource sharing, and improving management and guarantee mechanisms, aiming to improve the quality of continuing education for music teachers in rural primary and secondary schools in Western Guangdong and promote the development of rural music education.
