Innovation and Practice of Computer Basic Course Teaching in Media Oriented Universities under the Background of Artificial Intelligence

Abstract
In the era of artificial intelligence, the teaching of computer basic courses in media oriented universities is facing new challenges. This article analyzes the current teaching situation and points out problems such as unclear course positioning, outdated content, and insufficient practice. In response to these issues, innovative strategies are proposed from six aspects: clarifying course positioning, updating teaching content, adopting diversified teaching methods, strengthening practical teaching, establishing a diversified evaluation system, and improving teacher literacy. The practical effects at Wuhan Media College are also elaborated, including student ability improvement, competition awards, and teacher teaching ability improvement, providing reference for similar universities.
