Abstract
As a core component of the teaching and research system in universities, comprehensive laboratories serve as key carriers with dual attributes of being both "practical teaching platforms" and "research innovation platforms". However, with the expansion of their construction scale and accelerated reforms in recent years, issues related to safety and open management have become prominent. This article focuses on exploring and researching how artificial intelligence and smart education can empower the safe and open management of comprehensive laboratories in universities. It aims to help address various safety management issues faced by open laboratories, improve the safety management level of laboratories and the work efficiency of administrators, and provide technical support for laboratories to move towards intelligence.
