Abstract
This study addresses the current challenges in Japanese language education at the tertiary level by exploring effective pathways for integrating ideological and political education into the curriculum. The research first establishes a three-dimensional instructional objective encompassing knowledge acquisition, competence development, and value cultivation. It subsequently optimizes teaching materials and identifies ideological-political elements based on the principles of cultural balance, dynamic updating, and demand alignment, while constructing a diversified evaluation system involving multiple stakeholders to systematically advance curriculum-based ideological and political development. Using Lesson 3, "Holding Hope in Life," from the second volume of *New Generation University Japanese* as a case study, this paper designs a tripartite instructional framework integrating foundational knowledge, professional skills, and humanistic qualities. Through blended teaching approaches and progressive ideological-political design, it achieves an organic unity of language proficiency development and value orientation. This study aims to provide theoretical and practical references for the effective implementation of ideological and political education in university Japanese courses.
