Abstract
Online public opinion permeates daily campus life at ethnic universities and acts as an invisible classroom that shapes students’ values. Centered on the context of the New Era, this paper systematically analyzes the dual impacts of online public opinion on the value cultivation of ethnic college students. Viral stories featuring ethnic unity provide vivid teaching cases, while anonymous danmaku and out-of-context short videos may amplify historical biases and weaken students’ sense of identity with the Chinese national community. To tackle existing deficiencies including delayed responses, disjointed teaching content and outdated teaching methods, this study proposes a multi-dimensional countermeasure system to boost educational effectiveness: reinforcing mainstream value guidance, innovating teaching content and forms, constructing an integrated media communication system and elevating teachers’ digital literacy. It offers feasible references for consolidating the sense of community of the Chinese nation and cultivating young generations capable of shouldering the mission of national rejuvenation.
