Abstract
High-quality vocational education is a key objective of SDG 4. China's higher vocational education faces a dual spiritual dilemma: the widespread spiritual void caused by technological progress, and the erosion of university ideals under utilitarianism. To address this, higher vocational education should establish a unique value narrative system, cultivating an educational ecosystem that harmonizes technical skills with "Dao". By achieving sustainable human development through cultural inheritance and innovation, it can provide spiritual impetus and cultural support for the high-quality advancement of vocational education in the new era.
