The Impact of Family Environment on University Students’ Psychological Well-Being Under the Home-School Collaboration Framework and Proposed Intervention Strategies

Abstract
The family environment has an important impact on the mental health of college students and is a key factor in shaping their psychological quality and emotional management ability Under the concept of home-school co-education, the family plays a profound role in the psychological development of college students through educational methods, parent-child relationships, family atmosphere, management, and economic support. This paper starts from the current situation of the family environment and the mental health of college students, analyzes the challenges faced by the education and family environment college students' mental health based on previous research literature, deeply analyzes the reasons behind it, explores the internal laws, and draws relevant conclusions: A good family environment, democratic methods, harmonious parent-child relationship and warm family atmosphere can enhance students' psychological resilience, self-confidence and social adaptability, and provide solid support for their healthy growth; a bad family environment may lead to students' psychological problems such as anxiety and depression, and even affect their academic performance and social relationships. Therefore, it is proposed to improve college students mental health problems from six aspects: creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere, adjusting scientific and reasonable educational methods, improving the quality of parent-child relationship, managing family expectations and reasonably, and alleviating economic pressure and strengthening home-school synergy.
