Application and Effect Evaluation of Digital Technology in Middle School Physical Education Classroom Teaching

Abstract
This study aims to explore the application of digital technology in middle school physical education and evaluate its teaching effectiveness. A mixed-methods research design was adopted, combining teaching experiments, questionnaire surveys, and performance assessments. Two parallel classes were selected as research subjects, with the experimental group implementing digital-aided instruction and the control group using traditional teaching methods over a 12-week period. the results indicate that digital technology significantly enhances students' learning engagement, motor skill mastery, and theoretical knowledge acquisition, providing empirical evidence for the integration of information technology in physical education.
