Abstract
The advent of an accelerated society and the integration of digital intelligence have reshaped youth tourism behavior while offering diverse life experiences. From the perspective of social acceleration theory, this study investigates the Special forces-style tourism phenomenon prevalent among youth groups through interviews and digital ethnography. The findings reveal that its emergence stems from three dimensions of acceleration: technological advancement, accelerated social transformations, and intensified life rhythms. This tourism model demonstrates positive functions, enabling youths to address time scarcity, pursue novel experiences to break away from linear routines, strengthen social connections to fulfill relational needs and rebuild real-world bonds, and alleviate daily stress through temporary mental escapism.
