Abstract
Against the backdrop of deep population aging, this paper systematically explores the sustainable development path of the "Time Bank" mutual assistance elderly care model in China based on the theories of sharing economy, social capital, and transaction costs, using case analysis and comparative research methods. The study reveals that the current model faces core challenges such as institutional deficiency, technological lag, insufficient participation, and inconsistent measurement standards. It proposes innovative solutions including constructing a national institutional framework, empowering with blockchain technology, promoting multi-stakeholder collaboration, and establishing a classified measurement system. Through empirical analysis of domestic and international cases, the feasibility of the "government-led, community-based, and social participation" trinity model is demonstrated, providing academic reference and practical guidance for improving China's elderly care service system.
